"We attended the, 'Identifying trees in winter' workshop. The site is a wonderful wildlife haven. The classroom-based introduction and field work were both informative and fun. We feel better prepared to ID winter trees and with more practise may retain the skills you imparted. Thank you for sharing your huge talent and passion for nature. "

Stephanie Rampton reviewed: Introduction to Loom Weaving

"I really enjoyed this introductory course to loom weaving. Kendall is a great teacher and I quickly felt able to explore my creativity. The process is tactile and satisfying, and the hours flew by. I have a beautiful piece of fabric now that I wove myself and it sits proudly on a chest of drawers at home. I am hoping to do a follow-on course with Kendall where I can learn more about setting up the loom from scratch. For this introductory course, Kendall sets up the loom for you, so you really can’t go wrong! I would recommend this course to anyone interested in textiles and weaving. It was a therapeutic and enjoyable experience."

Kendall Clarke responded:

"Thank you for such a lovely review Steph. I’m really pleased you enjoyed the day. Hope to see you soon. "

"What a fabulous day learning to spin on this beginner’s spinning course! Cathy was so knowledgeable and kind. A great teacher and very supportive and enthusiastic. I came away having learnt more than I’d expected and having spun my very own skein from a batch of texel fleece. I’ve hired a wheel from her now so I can continue to practise. "

"I took my Nana to do a teacup flower arrangement craft workshop and it was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful with my Nana's accessibility needs, and everything was explained very well (my Nana was really nervous she wouldn't be able to do the crafts and she was so proud when she made a really beautiful arrangement). It meant so much to me to be able to do this so thank you so much for all your help and helping to make such a nice afternoon for us :)"
