We are passionate about all things willow and teach small groups from our home studio in the beautiful Surrey Hills near Dorking. With over 20 years of experience, we love to share the knowledge we have gained and take you through the process of growing the willow in our field to cutting, sorting, grading and soaking ready for your course. .The project is started with a willow framed base. We will show you how to make it but have yours already prepared so that it is dry and sturdy for weaving around. USing random weave the ball then starts to take shape using both fresh and then dried and pre saoked willows in a variety of colours. Light it up, hang it in the tree. A beautiful sculpture for inside or out.
