Willow bird’s nest & feeder workshop

X

Description

It’s that time of year … Spring is in the air - can you feel it? In the morning weaving session, we will be making these cute little bird’s nests. They’re such fun to make. Just in time for Easter and the nesting session! In the afternoon we will make bird feeders. As they come in many shapes and sizes, they don’t need to be complicated. A creative and quirky finish and the birds will love it! These willow bird feeders look lovely in your garden, and you will be able to add to or repair at a later date. The final products make for the ideal sustainable handmade gift or something to keep for yourself. We will be using different materials including willow and other hedgerow foraging items and learn different wrapping and weaving techniques. This workshop is ideal for beginners and those with some experience. This course is limited to 10 delegates. The course will take place in our training barn at Stanwick Lakes, a beautiful 750-acre nature reserve and visitor attraction in the heart of Northamptonshire’s Nene Valley.
