Free-machine embroidery morning classes with Dawn Ireland
Weekly creative embroidery classes on Wednesday mornings and Wednesday evening sessions. Either 10am-12.30pm or 6pm -8.30pm. Run by Dawn Ireland, an artist with over 28 years of experience working in textiles, mixed media, free-machine and hand embroidery. All classes are relaxed and friendly. They provide an opportunity to be creative, inspired and meet other like-minded people. Working at your own pace I will be on hand to guide and support you throughout the session. You are welcome to bring along your own project to work on, and/or try different techniques and themes that I introduce at each session. Classes are suitable for complete beginners (maybe you would like to have a go at free-machine embroidery but aren’t sure where to begin) and those wanting to refresh their sewing skills or want to work in an inspiring environment with lots of lovely materials to use. I have over 28 years of experience working as a textile artist and have taught many different art and craft projects to all ages, from 1:1 sessions to large groups. I offer lots of support, info and ideas to help you with an existing project or something new. I can also help you to get the most out of your machine and set up for free-machine embroidery. The cost is £20 per session. You can come for a one-off session or book specific dates on an ongoing basis.

I am a mixed media textile artist with a BA (hons) degree in Textiles, specialising in Embroidery.
