About the Course
Come and learn about weaving and create your very own scarf. This course can be as in-depth as you like with a variety of options available!
Payment packages available: £50 non refundable deposit on booking, pay off as and when you can as long as its paid off 2 weeks before the date of your booking.
STARTER PACKAGE: 2 Days long. £250
Weave yourself a small scarf (25cm x 150cm) on an already prepared loom. Choose from plain un-dyed or black warp, and use anything from our variety of hand dyed yarn for your weft!
When the weaving is done you'll then learn a variety of ways to finish the edges and wet finish the fabric, ready for you to take away at the end of the course!
INTERMEDIATE PACKAGE: 4 Days long. £400
Using our selection of hand dyed yarn, design your own warp for your small scarf (25cm x 150cm) using card windings. Picking a favourite, learn to calculate and wind your warp, dress the loom, thread up and prepare for weaving.
Weave your scarf and then learn a variety of finishing techniques to make sure your scarf is ready to wear at the end of the course!
ADVANCED PACKAGE: 6 Days long. £600
Design and make yourself a small scarf (25cm x 150cm) from scratch!
Bring along some inspiration and we will spend a morning discussing your ideas and what you'd like to achieve. You will then learn to skein wind, prep for dying, dye or paint your own yarn.
Next you'll learn to wind a warp, dress the loom, thread up and prepare for weaving.
Weave your owns scarf and finally, learn a variety of finishing techniques to get your scarf ready to wear out the door!!
