You can create a one of a kind piece of art work for your home and garden. The only restriction is your imagination Items can be dipped directly into Powertex or brushed on. I had an amazing day on this course. Alison was a brilliant teacher, so helpful and made it all easy to understand. It is a very friendly workshop and great value for money. Everyone went home pleased with what they had made. I love mine and can't wait to put it in pride of place in my garden. Everyone who has seen my angel cannot believe it was possible in one day and they all think it looks so professional. All due to the great guidance from Alison. Would recommend this to anyone - great fun.
Thank you much for you lovely words. It was a great day- I am so happy that you love your sculpture- She IS Beautiful. I would love to see a picture of her in the future when you put her outside in your garden.x
What a fabulous course, a really enjoyable day! Alison was a great teacher, informative, knowledgeable and let us work to our own pace. Good value for money and I was amazed that I came away with a nice piece of work and I've ordered materials so I can play at home, it's so addictive and fun!
Only downside the tea shop was busy so lunch took a while to be served and we we didnt all get it at same time. Class was delayed but we were all able to stay later to finish the pieces. Not Alison's fault so not a criticism of the course.
Thank you for your lovely review. I am so pleased that you love your angel- I hope you send me some pictures of what you make in the future- as I know you are a very creative person.
The comments on the tea shop were addressed- Thank you for this feedback.
I was so thrilled that I found Allison's 1 day Canvas Workshop. As I don't consider myself 'crafty' I was worried that it may be too advanced for me. Allison was great though and provided great advice and assistance and I was able to produce a fantastic canvas that is in pride of place in my daughter's bedroom! Excellent and abundant resources to choose from. A great day - thoroughly recommend.
Allison Turner is an incredibly talented mixed media artist tucked away in Stapleford. I really enjoyed my Powertex workshop with her and wouldnt hesitate to recommend that you attend one of her workshops. She explains things clearly, generous with both her ideas and her time - and you never feel afraid to ask the "stupid questions" which always seem to arise when you learn something new. She is a real "find" and I will certainly attend another workshop with her.
