About the Course
Open Art Sessions... are open to all abilities and all mediums with the exception of oils.
All artists work on what they find inspiring with guidance given by Kate.
Places are limited to 8 maximum to ensure the group remains small enough to be friendly and ensure everyone has plenty of support.
Experimentation is encouraged for the brave but not required! Most artists will begin to 'go for it' once they have settled in, however, these sessions are 'yours' and every artist progresses at their own pace.
It is a painless way to absorb information and develop skills, find your own style, make new friends and enjoy yourself!
They run every week on:
Monday afternoon 1.30 to 3.30 pm - this is a new session so often has 3 or 4 places available
Wednesday afternoon 1 to 3 pm sometimes have 1 or 2 places available
Booking is essential, payment is required at the time of booking and can be done on a weekly basis in advance, with no obligation to pay on the days you are unable to join us.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
Since all artists are working on their own projects, materials are not provided for these sessions.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided on arrival and are freely available throughout , simply help yourself!
This is a wonderful course. I have learned so much and produced work that I would never have thought possible, improving all the time. Thank you Katy.
