Description
At this one-day workshop you will make a gorgeous sewing bag in a fabric of your choice. The bag has a large central area surrounded by pockets which are stitched around the inside. The pockets are of differing widths - you decide the sizes to fit your individual items. The bag is brilliant for organising and carrying all of your sewing paraphernalia and will be something you'll use all the time. Or, why not have a fun day making it to give as a gift to a sewing friend or relative! The workshop is from 9.30am - 5.15pm and is suitable for all levels of experience. A fabulous homemade lunch and refreshments throughout the day are included. You'll learn a number of skills applicable to a range of projects including: - Rotary cutting - Accurate machine stitching - Constructing pockets - Adding interfacings and facings - Making and adding a double frill You will need to bring your sewing machine, making sure it is in good working order and that you have the instruction book with you.
