Description
Introducing a needle felting workshop which is ideal for beginners to needle felting animals. We will all make a gorgeous fox with attitude step-by-step stages starting with a bundle of fox coloured carded wool, how to shape and form the wool to create the body, limbs and head. Discover how to put them together to make your fox. How to blend/card different colours of wool to make the bushy tail. How to make tri-coloured ears. Then add either glass or needle felt the eyes to give that 'foxy' look. It can be standing, sitting or laying down. I will teach the 'no armature' method of making your fox using just wool and a felting needle. This workshop is ideal for beginners or those with some experience of needle felting, as we will all be making the a fox.. I encourage individuality and having a fun relaxing day for everyone. A day workshop with experienced fibre artist Josephine Gornall in her studio at Dean Clough in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

I'm Josephine a fibre and mixed media artist and tutor with over 20 years experience of all aspects of wet and dry (needle) felt-making I have my own studio as part of an artists community in Fletchers Mill, Dean Clough in Halifax, West Yorkshire. I run a wide choice of fun, relaxing felt making and needle felting workshops using a vast colourful selection of materials. I also run the courses at other venues. I can set up bespoke courses for friends and families do get in touch to discuss the options. In the past I have been a designer and lecturer. Several years as a community artist. I have delivered and managed celebratory and public arts projects creating textile wall hangings, costumes, murals, lanterns parades, mosaics within Schools, and the wider community.
