About the Course

A fun, creative & relaxed day course where you will experiment with different techniques to create a textile picture. We will use a combination of techniques including fabric painting, free-machine embroidery & hand stitching. Using a wide variety of different papers and fabrics we will use collage to work on a finished piece which you can continue with at home.

What's included in the price?

There will be a large selection of fabrics, papers including handmade, textured and old maps. Threads for machine and hand sewing, buttons, ribbons, beads and other trims.
There will be refreshments throughout the day including coffee, tea, herbal teas, biscuits and delicious homemade cake. Please bring a packed lunch.

A lovely creative day in a relaxed setting with encouraging teaching.
A chance to learn new ways of working with colour and line using fabric paints, appliqué and threads as the mediums. Inspired me to develop what I'd started into finished and framed pieces when I got home.
