The Gentleman's Wardrobe

Tailoring for Beginners - Creating your own tailored garment.

Using the patterns from Vanessa Mooncie's The Gentleman's Wardrobe, this ongoing course will teach you how to adapt a menswear pattern to your own measurements and then the techniques to construct and finish your own beautifully tailored garment.

The course begins with the Waistcoat and Trousers. moving on to the Shirt and Jacket and finishing, just in time for Christmas, with pyjamas and a dressing gown. There is also a one day men's accessory workshop, where you can make a choice of neckwear.

This course is for beginners to tailoring but an intermediate level of sewing and knowledge of garment construction would be helpful.
