Course Start DatesWednesday 11th March 2020
About the Course
In this fun workshop we will start by creating a fabric sculpted background for your hare.
You will then learn how to create a basic armature using foil and masking tape, how to mix Powertex stone art clay and apply to the armature.
We will then go on and use Powertex pigments and varnish to bring out the character of your creation.
Finally we will build up your piece in a box frame ready for you to take home.
Please see website for course start times.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
All materials required to complete the project including the box frame
As Powertex is a fabric hardener I recommend that you wear old clothes.
Had a fantastic afternoon here with the family as a birthday treat. Annette has the most amazing workspace with all her crafty creations in the room. Great course, great tutor and very much made to feel welcome. Drinks flowing all afternoon and even got a cake with candle in it for my birthday. Lovely. Highly recommended. Thank you Annette for a fabulous day.

Response from Annette Smyth:Hi Sharon
This class was amazing. Annette is so friendly and welcoming and has a wealth of knowledge. I took my mum for her birthday and she really enjoyed herself in the relaxed and fun atmosphere.
Annette was so helpful and lovely we really felt at home. Me and mum were so happy with our sculptures afterwards. We also had a cake for my mum's birthday with candles as well, which was such a thoughtful extra touch that meant a lot to us both. We are hoping to go again. Thanks so much Annette, you are wonderful.
