Free Motion Leaves and Flowers in Machynlleth
Description
This afternoon workshop is dedicated to learning how to do free motion embroidery using soluble fabric . Molly will explain the basics and you will have time to try the technique out and experiment. When you feel ready, Molly will demonstrate three methods of making leaves and flowers. You can choose which to try first. The different methods vary in the skill required. So the workshop is suitable for those who have experience of free motion embroidery, as well as those who have never done it before.
What's included in the price?
All the material to experiment and make flowers and leaves A detailed colour step by step handout about this topic. You need to bring your own sewing machine, or Molly can provide a machine for a limited number of people by prior arrangement. If bringing your own machine, it needs to be possible to set it up for free motion embroidery and have a free motion foot, in good working order and PAT tested with in the last year.
