The ultimate lino print kit for a gift. This printmaking kit is my highest quality option fully loaded and super attention paid to its packing & quality. Suitable for a complete beginner or somebody who wants to invest in a good set of quality equipment to complete several projects, this kit can be a base on which to add further equipment & materials. It comes fully gift wrapped in premium paper with jute twine or ribbon and a hand printed lino greeting card. I have different styles of paper depending on who your gift is for, just get in touch! Can be something plain stripe or something more floral. A great gift for birthdays, graduation, Christmas, work friends! Your message is hand written on an insert placed inside the card. The receiver can choose to keep the card or gift to somebody. As an Artist myself I use these items in my own Printwork – I’m Catherine, an Artist based in Liverpool UK where I also teach in person workshops. I put together this kit along with written step-by-step instructions, design templates and a series of video tutorials which range from very basic to more advanced techniques. I offer a wide range of printing kits to suit every budget. No matter which kit you choose, each gives you a good starting point from which you can decide if you enjoy it! Hopefully you will fall in love - it's so easy to get great results! I am keen to keep a 'handmade' feel to my kits, the same as with my artwork & workshops. Warning - it's addictive!! You will get mindfully lost in the cutting process and then feel uplifted when you come to working with the sumptuous printing inks. For a complete beginner, set aside an hour to cut the lino & another hour for printing, enough time to complete a small print project as a minimum however, enough print bases, inks and lino here for several projects. The great thing about lino printing is that you can learn at your own pace - make it as easy or as difficult as you like. Such a beautiful process made popular by Matisse & Picasso due to its simplicity.

Clever Hands is a small business & Art Studio based in Liverpool UK run by Artist Catherine Carmyllie. When the pandemic hit, creative classes at the studio had to pause. Catherine began sending out arts materials by post so that her students could continue being creative at home.
