Description
Each workshop will draw on a fresh source of inspiration. We will explore a variety of genres and techniques, with exercises to jump-start new work and develop your writing craft. All sessions will be suitable for both beginners and more experienced writers looking for new ideas. The workshops will encourage experimentation in a friendly, supportive environment. You could dip in and out of these workshops, as each is stand alone, or book them as a series. Lunch is included About the Tutor: Judith Allnatt is a fiction writer, poet and experienced tutor who loves to help others develop their writer’s voice. Her novels have been featured as a Radio 5 Book of the Month and shortlisted for the East Midlands Book Award and the Portico Prize for Literature. Her short fiction and poetry has been listed for many awards including the Commonwealth Short Story Award, Bridport Prize, Radio 4 Showcase and the National Poetry Competition. She has worked widely as a Writer in Residence and has most recently served as a Royal Literary Fund Fellow.
