Workshops are held in our dedicated Powertex Studio in Hartlepool, with adjacent car parking and close to the train station. The days workshop will be taught by fully qualified and Powertex certified tutors who can advise on all aspects of this new fabulous creative hobby.
We adhere to all social distancing and safety principles with limited places available. Face coverings are optional.
This workshop is using a preformed Pumpkin base. Then step by step, you will be taught the principles of working with Powertex, a universal fabric hardener and how it works with different natural fabrics as you slowly build up and wrap your pumpkin. Using different textures and fabrics to define the style you want. whether it is a fun friendly pumpkin, or a seriously scary pumpkin!
Once it is touch dry, you will learn dry brush painting techniques to highlight the textures. Your pumpkin will be ready to take home at the end of the workshop, it will be fully dry after three days and can go outside after three weeks. It can have led lights added and be brought out each year as your everlasting pumpkin.
