Description

This bespoke workshop focuses on transforming creative visions into reality. Whether ideas are bold, unconventional, or experimental, support is provided to help bring dream hats to life. Designed for individuals with a variety of skills and interests, including fashion students, artists, and enthusiastic amateur crafters, this workshop offers an opportunity to explore new techniques, enhance existing skills, or simply enjoy a creative outlet. A supportive and inspiring environment is fostered for all projects. Before the workshop, an in-depth discussion about the concept will take place. Specifics of the design will be reviewed, necessary materials identified, suppliers explored, and a step-by-step plan developed to guide the process. This initial consultation can be conducted via video call or email, making it accessible regardless of location. The workshop is priced at £160 for up to three hours, with each additional hour available at a discounted rate of £35. (For reference: A small fascinator takes about 3 hours and a small cocktail hat takes an average of 6.5 hours to make). During the initial consultation, an estimated time frame will be provided based on the complexity of the design, allowing for effective planning.

What's included in the price?

All essential construction materials, including items like wire, stiffener, buckram are provided. However, for the best results, you’ll need to source your primary materials, such as the fabrics, felts, and trims that will bring your design to life. I’m happy to offer guidance on sourcing these materials and can suggest reliable suppliers if needed.
