About the Course
Do you want to make a unique and eye catching wreath, not just for this Christmas but for many years to come?
During this workshop you’ll be using Powertex sculpting medium and fabric to create your wreath. Once it’s fully dry you can put it outside, it’ll be weatherproof. At the end of the Christmas season, bring it inside, dry it off, pop it away-and bring it out the following year. It’ll still be lovely.
So you’ll learn how to construct the wreath, use Powertex and fabric to create texture and detail, add embellishments and finally how to add colour to your design to really bring it to life. You can choose to make either a bronze/brown or green wreath. The finished wreath will be over 14 inches in diameter.
The workshop is run by a certified Powertex tutor.
It will be held in one of the lovely community rooms in Birtley Methodist Church. This is easily accessible by public transport, being in the centre of Birtley, and close to the A1.
£10 deposit secures your place and the balance is payable at the workshop.
The workshop starts at 10am and it should finish by approximately 3pm but allow a little extra time just in case.
Please note that I need minimum numbers to run the workshop (to cover room hire) so why not book with a friend!
