Join best-selling author Cat Weatherill in her four hundred year old cottage for a day of gentle confidence-building and creativity.
If you feel you have lost your way, have no stories to tell or simply don't know where to begin, this is the day for you. Cat, the founder of Pilates for the Pen, will lead you through a series of reflective writing exercises that will spark your imagination, bring fresh insights and raise your self-esteem.
The cottage is so small, there's only room for two students, so it is very relaxed and friendly. There will be tea and cake, a homemade lunch and a stroll around the delightful market town of Alcester. You do not need to have writing experience, simply a desire to express yourself.
Deeply satisfying, fun but focussed, the workshop will especially benefit anyone who is finding it difficult to settle to writing at the moment. Cat is a highly experienced trainer who likes to create a safe, supportive space where people can laugh and learn together. She is extremely good at showing how ideas can be generated. You will go home with endless possible storylines, guaranteed!
Cat Weatherill is a best-selling novelist and a leading performance storyteller. She frequently leads workshops for the Society of Authors, has recently enjoyed a commission from the Royal Shakespeare Company and is currently writing a confidence book for women who want to start motorcycling. catweatherill.co.uk
