Can you sew in a straight(ish) line with your sewing machine?
Can you (just about) remember how to thread it?
If the answer is yes, then you'll be able to make this fun, fabulous festival dress.
We will be using fabric that has been washed and rescued from a previous life.
Classes are small and our lovely bright studio space is a great spot for you to get bold and brave with your sewing.
We're based less than 10 minutes walk from historic Wallingford's town centre, and have plentiful parking.
By the end of the course you will:
-Discuss re-cycling fabric, and fabric fire safety
-Draft a basic pattern
-Machine sew using straight stitch and zig-zag stitch on your machine
-Construct a fabric channel
-Use a measuring stick to ensure your hem is straight
-Finish raw edges
-Compare options for hemming
You will leave with your dress -
(depending on timings, you may need to finish off the hem at home).
Classes will run regularly - please contact me for specific dates (let me know your availability at the same time).
If you will be redeeming a CraftCourses gift voucher on this course, the voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

-You will have a choice from at least 10 different fabrics, (although if you would like to bring your own, then please contact me for extra information).
