Unsure if beekeeping is for you? Looking to step into the world of beekeeping? Or just curious to see what is going on inside a beehive? This could be the perfect experience for you.

If purchasing as a gift the date can be decided on by gift recipient, but confirmation should be made by the recipient by the end of January 2019.
To would help us with bookings, if purchasing as a gift, that the gift recipients contact details are sent to us, so we can liase directly with the recipient close to the course date.
9.30am Arrival, tea/ coffee and cake.
Followed by an introduction to beekeeping, bee hives, and the bees.
11.30am finish, with a honey and mead tasting.
The amount of time we can spend with the bee hives open can be limited by the weather, but rest assured, even if the weather is poor, we also have interactive experience of looking through the beehive digitally as well as the hands on handling of the bees if desired.
Course participants will also be able to access discounts on purchase of colonies of bees if they subscribe to the full day course to continue their journey into the world of beekeeping.
All participants will leave with information on the next steps to take to get established as a beekeeper, and a goody bag full of lovely products from the bees at Northumberland Honey Co.
All protective equipment is provided, please just bring sturdy boots/ wellingtons.
