Landscapes in ink and bleach:
Experiment with various types of ink and a gentle bleach solutions for interesting textures and effects. “Accidental’ reactions between both mediums create dramatic landscape and sky effects, or a more controlled approach can be taken to keep the work ‘tight’. The stunning scenery of the Lake District will be our inspiration for the day.
Patsy will bring all the equipment you will need but if you have fountain pen ink (Quink), dip pens, paint brushes (Ones that you won’t mind dipping into bleach), drawing pens or your own watercolour paper, this might be useful. You may also wish to bring any moody or dramatic landscape pictures to use as inspiration, but Patsy will also bring these. There may be a small charge for inks and paper provided by Patsy.
