Tutor Profile: Dr Jacqueline Boyd (Jackie) is an experienced animal scientist who has worked in the research, education, and commercial animal nutrition worlds.

She has a particular interest in companion animal biology, especially canine science, and runs her own business providing canine coaching and consultancy, as well as working part time as a Senior Lecturer in Animal Science at Nottingham Trent University.

Jackie is also involved with The Kennel Club and the charity SPANA, which provides support for working animals abroad.

Jackie also has her own small ‘menagerie’ which includes five cocker spaniels, with whom Jackie trains and competes in several canine sports.
