"My brother in law and I had an evening class session with Dave, and had an absoluely fabulous time. Dave is an expert teacher, a great craftsman and a lovely guy to spend time with. I had no idea that we'd be making spoons starting with a lump of wood and an axe, but Dave guided us through the process and we soon felt very relaxed rough cutting the wood down to the spoon outline before finsihing with wood knives. A really lovely way to spend an evening and we both came away feeling justifiably proud of what we'd acheived and our finished spoons!"

"Had a lovely afternoon making our wooden spoons. Just me and my dad with excellent tuition from Dave. Very impressed we managed to make spoons using an axe and knives. It was very relaxing as you focus so much on what you are doing. Learned about different techniques, woods etc and think dad has ordered some knives to have a go already! Great afternoon."
