"Wonderful experience! Learnt so much about the entire process of charcoal making through Mark’s expert knowledge and by simply having a go, in a safe and welcoming setting. After lashings of tea, and Christina’s delicious lunch, Kim’s insightful drawing tuition got us thinking about how to see the woodland quite differently and in a very interesting and fun way. We’re very lucky indeed to have the opportunity to do this. I drove all the way home with a big smile on my face - a great day with lovely company in a simply beautiful setting. Thanks Mark, Kim and Christina can’t wait to use my new charcoal again."

"What a great day we had yesterday at Walderchain Wood Kent A full day doing a Bowl Carving course. We learnt a lot about wood a lot about various tools and their uses. Who knew you could carve small items with an Axe. A very sharp Axe. Thanks to Mark a great patient instructor and his wife who cooked a locally gathered lunch. Well done to the pair of you and thank you "
