Stef reviewed: Beginner's Willow basket weaving with Amy Cox

"We loved the basket weaving workshop! Amy is extremely knowledgeable and always happy to help with the right advise or demonstration. We finished the course with two beautiful baskets we are very proud of! Next time we'll try to book during summer, since it was cold in the open air hut where the course takes place (despite wearing warm clothes!)"

Tree to Treen responded:

"Thanks Stef! Glad you had a good day with Amy! I'm planning on avoiding October courses next year to try and avoid the cold situation. All the best, Geoff"

"A wonderful day carving. Rosie was very knowledgeable & gave the right level of support to beginners & those who had carved a little. She was great at timing so we all managed to stay on track. I felt she was very encouraging, engaging ,bright & happy & she really inspired me. Im definitely going to continue carving spoons at home & i feel she has enabled me to feel confident enough to do this. The venue was perfect. I'd highly recommend "

"Really enjoyed the course, instructor Rosie and the outdoor workshop ( very lucky with the weather ). Guided through the different knife and axe techniques. Made a butter spreader and a spoon that I really didn't believe I was going to achieve. Great encouragement from Rosie. Highly recommend."

Hetty reviewed: Spoon Carving with Rosie Mockford

"A very enjoyable day in surprisingly charming venue. Clear and helpful teaching in a very encouraging atmosphere. Also a very productive day that was well planned. A great experience for beginners into the world of the wood people. Rosie was a sensitive, caring teacher with a special ability to instruct a mixed group and everyone managed to create a characterful wooden utensil. Thanks"

"It was a very relaxing day. Good to meet new interesting people and I was pleased with the kuksa I produced. Very good to be using new and different tools. The communication beforehand was good. It was a peaceful rustic environment, quite cold but we were advised to wrap up warm."

Paul Stollery reviewed: Spoon Carving with Rosie Mockford

"It was brilliant. The teacher was great, the hands on activity was brilliant. I *loved* the setting, too. A lot of the time, you get this sort of stuff being run out of a grey council building or something like that. This was like some sort of off grid paradise. I loved it."
