Not only did she share her knowledge and experience she also made fab cups of coffee. The atmosphere was very relaxed and you are able to work at your own pace. I would highly recommend this two day course, I only wish I’d learnt this craft many years ago. I definitely want to do more. "I went to Purple Glass Studio for a one day fused glass course three years ago, and was so enthused that I have been going weekly (in term time) ever since! Bonnie is so knowledgeable and keen to develop your skills. She enables you to learn, make mistakes and move on, all in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. I am particularly impressed with the way that Bonnie enables absolute beginners to produce fused glass pieces that they can be proud of, at lest 3 or 4 of them in a day - participants always leave with a smile on their faces, and many like me return again. I would recommend the Purple Glass Studio to anyone who wants to learn the basics, or to develop their skills, not only in fused glass but in stained glass too. You will have a fantastic day or two, and leave with something to be very proud of!"

"I have just been on a 2 day stained glass leading course with Bonnie. I have enjoyed it so much and also learned a new skill. Bonnie was an excellent tutor, helpful when needed but great at showing how somethings done and letting you get on with it. I can't believe how much I have learned in 2 days and how confident I feel to have a go on my own. Bonnie has been most helpful with advice about equipment and supplies. All who have seen my window are very impressed, my husband says it's a masterpiece. Bonnie is very friendly and patient and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I would absolutely recommend the course, it is such a lovely and worthwhile way to spend a couple of days learning how it's done."

"I recently went on a 2-day course with Bonnie at the Purple Stained Glass Studio near Loughborough and it was a thoroughly enjoyable and enlightening experience. I was a complete beginner, but under her expert tuition, I actually came away with a stained glass window that I feel really proud of and can display in my home. My partner was surprised at how 'professional' it looks! Bonnie is an exceptional tutor with a natural aptitude for teaching- she is calm, reassuring and has oodles of patience. She is very flexible and tailors her course around what you actually want to learn, and if you have a specific project in mind, will help you complete it, incorporating more days if needed. In theory, you can learn how to make stained glass windows by watching YouTube videos- in practice, you can't beat hands-on tuition where you get ongoing advice and tips. I highly recommend anyone wanting to learn about the 'how to' of stained glass to go and see Bonnie- you won't be disappointed."
