"I had been thinking of doing Pyrography for quite some time, however, I am no artist and had no knowledge of this wonderful craft. The course was full of detail and gave me a great insight into different techniques, equipment and confidence in my ability. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day. Susan is great, very knowledgeable and encouraging. I would definitely recommend the course to any one thinking of doing pyrography!"

"I feel that the wood burning course might be compared with burning wood logs on an open fire. It was warm and comforting. it commandeered ones full attention, it exercised ones imagination (with faces in the fire), but all without any spitting, sparks or, the resultant ash: Pity it's not possible to dispose of used tissues.5 So thank you and best wishes."

"Had a great day and learnt a lot in a relaxed atmosphere. Susan is knowledgeable and passes on her expertise in an easy to understand manner. I have no artistic ability and was a little worried about some of the techniques we were going to practice, but Susan made them easy to achieve. I have already ordered the same pyrography machine as we used on the course. Would recommend Susan's courses to anyone who thinks this may be for them."

"Excellent course to give me a hands on insight into pyrography, perfectly pitched for a complete beginner. Learnt some basic techniques which has given me the confidence to get going. Very helpful guide to the different machines and how to make and care for nibs. Useful info re. Wood types and health and safety. Susan is a very friendly, informative and inspiring tutor had a great day ... could easily have stayed longer."

"An Excellent course. I have been doing pyrography for about 2 months but wanted to learn more techniques. Susan certainly provided that and also gave me many hints and tips for me to progress my pyrography hobby. My main aims for the course were to understand shading, choose the correct wood and how to finish my projects (varnish, wax etc), these goals were achieved and I feel more confident in my hobby."
