"I started Sue's course with very little confidence in my creative ability. As she has guided me through techniques and skills, I am starting to produce pieces of work that I am proud of, both in her classes and at home. I also enjoy the friendly small group and the opportunity to try whatever I wish, with support and advice. I am learning from the others in the group too. Parndon Mill is a lovely place to hold the courses and there is the added bonus of visiting the gallery each week before attending the class. Thankyou Sue."

"Sue has provided well resourced and detailed lessons that are engaging and useful for my teenage daughter. She offers support and guidance where needed and is quick to respond to any queries or difficulties. I would happily recommend her as a teacher for anyone wishing to improve their art skills or prepare for art exams. Her knowledge and experience as a secondary school teacher is invaluable for home schooled children who want to add an art IGCSE to their qualifications. She has always been cheerful, friendly and encouraging to everyone in her class."

"My daughter attended Sue's classes for about 6 years and loved them. Our house is full of wonderful works of art that she's created under Sue's tutelage and it gave her a wonderful opportunity to work in a variety of media, as well as to exhibit in an exhibition. Sue is a lovely person and a great teacher; I would thoroughly recommend"

"I have been coming to Sue's class for a few years now. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the chance to be creative alongside like-minded people. There is no pressure put on you. The group is small and friendly and there is the chance to try many forms of art, printmaking, pottery, pen and ink, charcoal, whatever you would like to try. The studio is at the top of an old mill, you only have to look out of the window to be inspired."

"This is a small, friendly class where we can work individually in our preferred medium - we don't all have to do the same thing at the same time. Sue Wagstaff provides instruction and/or advice where wanted, but encourages us to develop our own creative style. She also makes suggestions for us to step out of our comfort zone, perhaps with pencil, pastel, paint, print, clay or plaster, but it is entirely up to us whether we accept the challenge or not. And we get biscuits!"

"Sue has a lovely studio in Pardon Mill accessible by old ladder stairs, I have really enjoyed attending her small group classes over the last 6 years or so they are friendly and informative. I have learnt how to make things from clay and had a go at lino cutting / printing, still life drawing and on occasion we have had life models in, Sue has a broad knowledge base and is an excellent teacher"
