"Jamie is clearly extremely passionate about stained glass and his enthusiasm and passion make him a wonderful teacher. The course is great value. Throughout the day you learn how to cut glass, use the soldering iron, use the grinder and much more. You also get to take your finished piece home!"

We all had a lot of fun and learnt so much, each taking our completed stained glass panel home with us. Jamie was a great teacher, extremely knowledgable, passionate and helpful. "My daughters booked the stained glass workshop for me as an early Mother’s Day gift. They also booked on to the course. The three of us had a fantastic day! We learnt all the techniques and each of us made a small stained glass plaque to take home. Jamie was great and we can’t wait until he does another course for stained glass using the copper technique. I would highly recommend the course for fun as well as those who want to take the skills learnt further. Great value and great fun."

"I really enjoyed the course with Jamie. I have wanted to try Stained Glass for ages and I was not disappointed. Jamie is great at enthusing the group with his passion for glass and inspiring you to understand the different methods that go into making various windows and objects. The course is creative, but technical too. Jamie explained it all really clearly, whilst making sure he went around to see everyone individually. I now feel that I have a really solid understanding of the whole process and a beautiful stained glass panel of my own as well! A highly recommended course!"

"I very much enjoyed my first workshop with Jamie. I have never done any stained glass before and Jamie guided the group with expertise and patience, teaching and supervising the many steps to completion. I found the process challenging as it demands great concentration and accuracy. It took me a while to learn how to hold the glass cutter correctly and to cut the curves in my design. Choosing the type of glass and the colour was great fun, and learning how to shape the lead and then soldering and cementing it was a great experience. I have never used a solder iron before! Jamie is a very talented and expert maker and teacher and I hope we will have many further workshops with him. A big thanks to Jamie for all the work he put into this."
