"I received this course as a gift and it was amazing from start to finish. A lovely warm welcome from Siobhan and a day of learning with a small group in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I made 4 pieces that I designed with guidance and Siobhan passed on her great knowledge of what would and wouldn't work. When I collected my pieces the following week I was so happy at how they turned out and will be booking again nearer Christmas to have another go and do some decorations."

"I attended this course and was amazed at what I learnt! I was very careful to choose a course where I would have the freedom to create my own pieces from my own ideas and that's exactly what I was able to do. Not only did I learn lots but I also created a beautiful piece of glass art (a sugar skull!) that now sits on my wall at home. Siobhan is a one of a kind and super talented. The lunch was great and refreshments were continuous. It was a real privilege to be in Siobhan's studio and to be instructed by her. Highly recommend! My kiln is now on order and I cannot wait to create my own little space to create my own glass!"

She took us through the creative process step by step so even as a complete beginner, with limited artistic talent, I was able to produce some lovely things. "Fabulous introduction into fused glass! I would highly recommend Siobhan's day course to anyone who wishes to create a unique gift, start a fused glass course project or have a fun day out crafting! The day was expertly guided in the workshop and we were given all the equipment, training and knowledge required to produce at least 3 beautiful pieces of art (of which I was VERY impressed how they turned out.) The skills are not hard to obtain and within the first 2 hours many of us had produced our first piece of glass art and letting our imaginations guide us (with the help of Siobhan) to create other pieces! The workshop is really friendly and the staff are really lovely. The day is an excellent way to get into glass art projects and as there are many other courses available I will be sure to return. Well worth the cost which covers the training in a small private group, all the materials, lunch (which was lovely) and three (or more!) pieces of your individual creations."

"This really is a lovely way to spend a day. The course was a surprise present and I’ll admit that I was a little nervous because I’m not at all artistic. But I needn’t have worried, Siobhan expertly guided us through various techniques and was with us all day encouraging and lending a hand if needed. I’ve just picked up the 3 pieces I made and I’m delighted with them, just deciding which walls to put them on. Amazing! Thanks for a fabulous day."

"3rd time back !!!! Can't help ourselves. such a great day out and we learn more each time. Siobhan pushed us both a lot more this time and we came away with works of art that look great on our wall. There is soo much to learn and every time you go you realise just how talented Siobhan is and what a great hostess she is. Highly recommend this day, but, be prepared to get addicted !"

"Never having worked with glass before, I wasn't sure how I would get on but I needn't have worried. Siobhan is a great teacher & so enthusiastic about all things glass. I picked up my finished pieces yesterday (2 decorative coasters & a largish abstract piece in shades of blue) & am thrilled with the results of my efforts. The day begins with an introduction about different types of glass, techniques & tools followed by free reign to design your own pieces with Siobhan always on hand to guide & provide tips to ensure you won't be disappointed. Loads of refreshments available all day & a lovely lunch too. I couldn't believe how fast the time went - 4.30 came all too soon. A really fun filled productive day. I hope to book on another course sometime & see what else I can produce!"

"A birthday gift, fused glass was something that I had wanted to try for a while and I wasn’t disappointed. Amazing tuition, support and guidance from Siobhan and Dan - energetic and buzzy day. So much to learn and try ! Little bit tricky at first to visualise what the little pieces of glass will turn into but great fun! Great chat with others over yummy lunch, inspired by others, Siobhan’s commissions and their Ashes in Art pieces and jewellery are just stunning. I made 3 pieces that I going to collect on Saturday - got to try out lots of different techniques - looking forward to seeing how they turn out. Would highly recommend - great hosting, lovely venue, excellent day ! Thank you very much :-)."
