I learned so much about water colour, how to look at shapes, tones and colour and produced some fabulous pieces of work. We were guided all the way through with Sarah's guidance, and gave us all her full attention. "

It is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced painters, and Sarah is really good at making changes when the pace is wrong for the group. "It was only by a very lucky chance that I signed up for Sarah's course for beginners. I had never thought that I remotely possessed any form of artistic skills and being pretty late in life, what was the point in trying? The course has been a revelation to me. Not only have I learnt skills that appear to have been dormant for the best part of a century (!!) but the course is so relaxing in a totally different way. All participants are so enthusiastic one can hardly hear a pin drop when they are concentrating on their pieces! Everyone seems to be thoroughly enjoying the experience, as am I. Well done Sarah, an inspiration."

"Charcoal drawing may not be as appealing as other media such as watercolour but I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Sarah is convinced that she can teach anyone to draw and judging by our class's results she appears to be correct. Everybody went away with an image worthy of framing. Sarah is a very patient and capable teacher and I would thoroughly recommend the course."
