"Great day! My partner and I had a lovely day out carving some designs. The workshop is lovely and peaceful, Peter was a really nice guy and made the whole group at ease straight away and taught us some interesting techniques and was on hand throughout the day to assist. Would highly recommend attending a course, we will be going back for a longer course very soon! "

"What a great day with Pete and the other participants of the group. If you want to give carving a try, do this course. Pete is an excellent teacher, giving everybody time and encouragement. Just what you need as a beginner. You can produce a passable first piece of work in the day, learning about the tools and maintenance. as well as loads of other tips Pete drops in. You don't need masses of expensive equipment to start, you can add as your skill and ambition increases. The tea flowed as did the chat, very nice lunch, so all in all, a great day. A new hobby, very satisfying. Thank you PETE "

"Loved every minute of this course. It was hands on from the start (which I really enjoyed) with Pete to share his experience, ideas & techniques as we worked on our individual projects. The workshop is lovely, filled with light and the most beautiful rocking horses. I came away feeling that I learned a lot and with the confidence to start on wood carvings at home. "I have loved this course and have learned so much with Pete' expert help. I was brand new to wood carving two days ago and already feeling proud of what I am achieving. There is a lovely informal and friendly atmosphere in the workshop and lots of individual help for people with more or less experience, and for people interested in different projects.
