Maker's bio

I aim to provide relaxed, friendly and fun workshops combining my experience from fashion/textiles printing and many years teaching GCSE and A level students in their Fine Art and Textile studies. It's all about exploring possibilities with colour, shape, layers, pattern and textures - which I love to do within my own work, creating a range of prints and collages on paper, fabric and cards.

Jess reviewed: Introduction to Lino Printing in Cambridgeshire

"This was such a lovely day. Judith is an excellent and encouraging teacher and had everything that we could need ready, including all the kit as well as lots of examples for inspiration. At the end of the day we came away with not only some lovely prints, but also also the skills to continue this hobby at home. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interesting in lino printing. "

Cathy reviewed: Introduction to Lino Printing in Cambridgeshire

"This was a thoroughly enjoyable day. Judith was a friendly, relaxed and encouraging tutor. She showed us lots of examples of prints to help us develop our own ideas and guided us clearly through the process. I have come away with the skills to do some printing at home, which was exactly what I wanted. "

Rosie reviewed: Introduction to Lino Printing in Cambridgeshire

"Really good days work! Judith took us through the basic techniques and had plenty of examples to get ideas. Also very encouraging with choosing from some photos I had taken with me. We worked round the heat of the weather and all produced prints to take away. Plenty of equipment and paper etc. "
