Maker's bio

I have been running a fibre flock of sheep for over 10 years, and combine their fleece and wool in many ways to teach people various wet felting techniques. My 'Viking' sheep (Icelandic's) provide me with fleeces that are ideal to make into felted rugs, and the locks and curls from my other breeds of sheep are regularly used to add interest and texture to the many items I can teach you to make using the wet felting technique.

"This was my first attempt at felting and I had a fantastic day. Liz was a great teacher and very patient. I went home with a lovely felted piece of art and amazed that had achieved so much in one session. Was very pleased with myself! The choice of wool was amazing and having so many colours available was very inspiring. I will definitely continue to felt and look forward to attending more courses in the future."

"An amazing day with Liz I loved it! Yes it's hard work but that's true of all wet felting it's just the technique. Liz is so helpful and very helpful and hands on throughout the day. I am hoping I can make it to another soon to try felt pictures."
