"A wonderful three hours being guided by the delightlful Claire as she introduced us to the intracies of lino-cut printing. Even via the medium of Zoom, her gentle, but instructive and truly inspirational approach, made the course feel intimate and personal. Having already explored lino-cut printing a little, I now feel better-equipped to tackle more complex projects. Sociable, supportive and friendly, I cannot recommend Claire and her course highly enough."

"Initially I was a little nervous attending this online workshop- but I really didn't have anything to feel nervous about. Claire is such a wonderful teacher, so kind and patient(and her lino jokes/puns are quality!) I had such a brilliant time learning new things. It really doesn't matter how much or how little you know about lino printing because Claire's attentive guidance will fill you with the confidence you need to carve away peacefully and joyfully. Everyone who attended the online workshop produced such beautiful work and this was partly down to Claire's amazing teaching method. I cannot thank you enough for a delightful afternoon Claire, and rest of the Zoom gang. I really do hope to attend another workshop with you in the near future."

"The workshop was fantastic - very well organised and Claire let everyone know in advance what we'd need for the day. Claire had lots of useful advice and tips, and was able to demonstrate various techniques live in the session, and by showing her own (brilliant) prints. Although the session was online, and there was a mix of experience in the group, Claire took the time to give feedback and advice on everyone's prints, and at the end we all had something to show. We really enjoyed ourselves, would really recommend Claire's workshops!"

"I cannot recommend this course enough! I bought it as a gift for my mother and we both had a wonderful day and came away with some beautiful prints. Claire is clearly passionate about the craft and sharing her love of it with others. She explained the process very clearly providing lots of support and inspiration where needed. She also provides you with some useful guidance and written information about how to continue lino printing at home.The whole set up felt very secure covid wise."

"This workshop was exactly what I was hoping for. It was fun and informative. Claire is an excellent teacher, who explained the process of Lino printing clearly and succinctly, in a safe and socially distanced setting. I was able to complete two Lino blocks and print two sets of cards, which I absolutely love. I came home and ordered a set of tools and some Lino straight away. I loved that Claire provided a list of resources to take home, so I knew exactly what I was looking for. I had a thoroughly enjoyable time and highly recommend Claire and her workshops."

"What a super day, and just the tonic I needed midst this current covid situation. I was treated to a marvellously well organised (all correct social distancing and spaces observed) and inspiring opportunity to acquire new skills. Claire is a talented creative tutor who encourages everyone to enjoy themselves and achieve delightful results following her guided and illustrated teaching plan. The working environment was wonderful in the Barn workshop and it was good to be able to meet other like minded people, and together we found the day just disappeared ! A great day for yourself to be creative."

"A peaceful and inspiring session spent with Claire learning linocutting. Covid measures were in place and people were neatly set up in their own spaces so everyone felt safe and happy throughout. Claire is a really clear teacher, well organised, and gave advice throughout our carving and printing that made the all finished pieces really lovely, even those done by a complete beginner like me! Her handy reference guide to take home with tips and recommended suppliers has already had me sketching our ideas with new tools on the way! "I had so much fun on this course! Claire has an infectious enthusiasm for lino and wood cutting, and was an excellent teacher. All equipment is provided and you dont need any prior experience. Claire's studio is lovely, and her pieces are really inspiring. There is enough time on the course to learn the basics, make several lino cuts and produce a printed fabric to take home. I was really pleased with what we were able to produce."
