"A wonderful two days sculpting in wax with Olivia in a stunning environment. Quality teaching, an experienced life model, all materials supplied. Olivia is an encouraging teacher and produces stunning work herself. The mix was about half new and half continuing students which worked really well. The course was paced to ensure plenty of individual attention and everyone finished with a piece of work that they were proud of. Recommend."

"I attended 2 days and thought the course was excellent. Olivia took us through the techniques, processes, tools and top tips with tremendous enthusiasm and worked around the class helping, guiding and encouraging throughout. It was very inclusive, and Olivia patiently brought along each member of the class; regardless of their previous experience. "Linocut printing with Olivia Clifton-Bligh. I had a very enjoyable 2 days on the course as an absolute beginner. Olivia is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and inspiring - there are good materials/ tools/ ideas for lino-cut projects - she showed and encouraged us to try several different methods of linocutting and helped us to rectify or adapt mistakes. Everyone came away with lovely results after the 1 or 2 days. I will do the course again and would recommend it to anyone thinking of having a go."

"Like everyone else who has sent a review I thought it was a thoroughly enjoyable day and completely absorbing! Olivia is so encouraging and enthusiastic and spends time with everyone guiding and advising so that we all came away feeling that we had achieved something we were pleased with and, in my case, wanting to carry on and do more. I can't stop looking at the countryside and dividing it into layers for a print! I learnt such a lot in just one day and even if I don't achieve a masterpiece and I really appreciate her talent and am so grateful to her for so freely and generously passing on her knowledge. If anyone wants to give me a present, I could do with another day with Olivia!"

"I had a lovely day on this course and learned so much about the art of lino printing. I was an absolute beginner but felt very well supported by Olivia, with a mixture of really clear and well illustrated whole group teaching, and plenty of one to one time. Olivia was really positive, encouraging and supportive. Taking place during a cold snap, it wasn't the warmest in the studio, despite the log burning stove but the welcome was warm, there was ongoing hot drinks available, blankets too! All the materials and equipment were laid out on the tables ready to go, and plenty of cards and pictures to inspire ideas. I loved the peace of the day, everyone busy working, and it was nice to have music on sometimes too. No pressure to leave on the dot, Olivia was very relaxed about giving us time to finish. Would definitely do the course again."

"A thoroughly enjoyable day, structured so that even complete beginners like me would have the satisfaction of taking home a finished piece. Lovely studio complete with cosy woodburner. My main worry had been preparation of the image, but lots of time and individual attention was devoted to this so that the process became much less daunting. You don't have to be brilliant at drawing, and little slips or inaccuracies at the cutting stage don't usually matter, and can actually add to the charm of the finished image. It was thrilling to see the image in print for the first time! This could get addictive... I've already ordered a set of materials and will definitely be back once I've had some practice at home!"

"I had had a little experience of lino cutting when I went on a one day session with Olivia. She was the most enthusiastic and informative teacher, always positive and seemingly also having all the answers! I wanted to know how to successfully register two different colours and I was glad to have the experience of doing this while Olivia was always hovering in the background. Now I want to spend some time experimenting myself before I go back for another day with another set of questions. The other "students" on the course were really friendly and it was so interesting to see our different styles and approaches, and just great to spend a whole day doing something I really enjoy.
