Kate reviewed: Introduction to fused glass

"Me and my bestie did the intro to glass fusing at the weekend, neither of us had done it before but Katherine was really helpful, explained everything and gave us some ideas to get going. In no time we had a design going and were on a roll, we totally zoned out and lost ourselves in the creativity. We had a great time, felt really at ease and excited to see our finished designs. I’ve booked to take my mum and niece and my best friend is looking to take her sister and her daughters. Great afternoon and great value for money. Thanks Katherine :-) "

"I attended Katherine’s course with a friend. We both enjoyed our afternoon and loved the way that Katherine guided us through learning about the tools we were going to use and the various ways of cutting shapes etc. We both came away after making two lovely items of fused glass and have since booked on another course making Christmas decorations. Can fully recommend the course ."

Derek Brown reviewed: Glass fusing discovery day

"The one day glass fusion course with Katherine was a great experience. Katherine's beautiful studio was the perfect setting for the course. I was made to feel most welcome when I first arrived with a cup of tea and homemade biscuits. In the studio we were given aprons and safety glasses and Katherine explained the safe ways to handle glass. We were then taught to cut glass in straight and curved lines. After practicing basic cutting techniques I constructed a coaster. Following more instruction I made a bowl and a piece of jewelry. I felt very comfortable with Katherine's friendly style of teaching and giving assistance when asked. An excellent lunch and refreshments were provided on the day. I picked up my finished pieces about 2 weeks later and I am very happy with them."
