Hello,
I’m Jolanda – artist, maker, and founder of MissesTreeDesigns, based in the heart of the English countryside.
With a background in Art School and Furniture & Upholstery College in Amsterdam, and years of experience working in youth support and healthcare, I’m passionate about combining creativity with wellbeing.
I now teach furniture painting and upcycling workshops, helping others reconnect with their creativity through mindful, hands-on making. My courses are designed for anyone who wants to learn how to turn old, unloved furniture into unique, functional pieces of art – no experience needed.
In my workshops, I will teach you all the techniques you need for priming, pattern design, colour application and how to apply a protective finishing. I love seeing how each student brings their own ideas to life, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Whether you're looking for a new skill, a mindful break, or a way to transform a special piece of furniture, I’d love to welcome you to one of my courses. Let’s create something beautiful together.
Looking forward meeting you! :-)
