Maker's bio

I’m Melanie Cormack-Hicks – a full time fine artist based in the beautiful Cotswolds. I was still working as an art teacher when I rediscovered my own artist’s voice. I wanted to teach to prove that everyone can enjoy art – it’s about creativity, not ability. Today, I create paintings of the landscapes I love – I’m lucky enough to be represented by Marine House Gallery in Beer and Creates Gallery in Monmouth. My paintings sell far and wide, in Devon, Wales, London, Singapore and Hong Kong.
