"I really enjoyed the afternoon, despite feeling terrible with a cold. We were made really welcome with drinks and lovely cakes and I learnt a lot of skills within the 3 hours - enough that I have successfully completed the piece I started and inspired my two boys (8 and 10) who are now well on their way to completing their first pieces. I'm now well into my second piece of work and have been purchasing lots of wool to make more textured work."

"This was a really lovely course for beginners. Mary is delightful, answers every question and made everything easy to understand . All the necessary equipment was supplied , which we came away with . Tea and coffee were along with delicious home made cakes provided. This was a lovely way to spend an afternoon"

"Honestly one of the best craft courses I have ever attended! Mary is a lovely teacher (and also an excellent baker). The materials and instructions were first-class, the tuition patient and helpful and I left feeling relaxed, uplifted and inspired - a winning combination. The fact that students are also given a loom and a detailed manual means I have been able to carry on weaving at home and am rapidly falling in love with this soothing and tactile artform. Thank you Mary, a wonderful and highly recommended experience."

"I feel so excited after attending Mary's course and have been non-stop weaving and eagerly drawing new ideas! The course was fantastic; tuition was clear and easy to follow, the structure was just right. My mum, aunt and I all attended the course and we all really enjoyed it, we each came away with unique weavings and an understanding of how to develop our newly-acquired skills! Mary is a patient and friendly teacher, no question we asked was too silly. The fact we also came away with our own loom, weaving accessories and amazing weaving guide (...and a tummy full of cake!) makes this course incredible value too. Thank you, I would not hesitate to recommend this course!"
