Maker's bio

Working with fine flexible materials, with the use of a few simple tools, I sit on the edge of basketry and textiles, drawing skills from both areas: adapting techniques, exploring and experimenting. More recently my practice has developed to incorporate more ‘traditional’ textile techniques. With a background in primary teaching, maths tutoring and museum education, I greatly enjoy running workshops and giving talks; sharing my enthusiasm for making and the passing on of skills.
