London Sculpture Workshop (LSW) is a not for profit CIC and artist led maker space, founded in 2012 by graduates from The Royal College of Art (RCA) and The Slade School of Fine Art as an open access sculpture workshop with a short course programme. LSW was founded to meet the need for accessible, inclusive, affordable, high-quality facilities for anyone who wants to make in 3D.
"Amazing course - I was so happy to leave with my own bronze sculpture and had such a great time witnessing the live pour, it was exciting! I learnt a lot about the overall bronze process and would love to cast some more metals at LSW in the future."
"The course is an excellent introduction to learning the skills and arts of welding. It’s excellent value for money, and I found that the afternoon just flew by. Andrew is not just very skilled and knowledgeable in his subject, he is also an enthusiastic instructor and gifted communicator. As a follow-up to having done this course, I have enrolled on a two-day metal fabrication workshop in October."
"A great introduction to working with copper. The course covered numerous techniques with full hands-on experience. The teacher's clear instructions allow you to work on your own projects under guidance. I couldn't believe how much I learned in the time and the pieces that I was able to create. A creative and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended."
