"Just had a day of beginner's spinning with Cathy and Jean at Knit Wise and it was wonderful! I was given the workshop as a gift - must be one of the best ever birthday presents. At the start of the session I couldn't quite believe I would be able to produce anything useable, but with patient help from both Cathy and Jean, I left with 4 skeins of beautiful yarn that I intend to dye, then knit. All that, with homemade flapjack as a bonus!"

"As a complete novice to spinning, I was rather doubtful that I could turn my own alpaca fibre into something that remotely resembled yarn…after a fantastic day, a lot of encouragement and patience from Cathy, I have come away feeling inspired, with some rather pleasing (and surprising) results as well as some new vocab to impress my friends with (niddy-noddy?!). A highly recommended course."
