I am a textile artist based in Yorkshire. I teach textile arts (knitting, crochet, spinning yarn and more) and I also occasionally sell my pieces. I love meeting new people and teaching them skills that they can use to create beautiful pieces. I am almost completely self-taught - which means I have found ways of learning and teaching that are flexible, and I have not met someone yet who I cannot teach the skill they wish to learn!

"An excellent course. Georgie is good at explaining and even better at showing how things are done. The course is totally hands-on, working with a variety if materials. Georgie has a huge collectionnof stuff to work on. I came away full of enthusiasm. But it was rather cold (not surprising as it was the coldest day of the year)."

"Really good course I learned loads, I had an idea about crocheting just didn’t get it with the different stitches, Georgie was very good in teaching me and explaining the different stitches it was like a light bulb moment suddenly I could see it and how to do it, would highly recommend at a very affordable price too "
