"We both had such an amazing time making bowls with Josie. She talked us through every stage of the process, demonstrating what to do, and helped us to understand why we were doing it. She has such a wealth of knowledge. The process of making the bowls was great fun, and was very relaxed too. We picked up our finished bowls a few weeks later when we were back in London, and they now have pride of place in our entrance hall. We would highly recommend this experience."

"I visited the Sunday bowl making clay course with Josie. She has a great studio with a very friendly and nice atmosphere. "My friend and I were looking for a course to use the vouchers we got for our birthdays and I can say we could not have found a better place. Time flew by as we tried (and fairy succeded I may add) to shape the clay in what was to be our bowls. I chose to make a yarn bowl as I didn't really need a normal one but a yarn bowl definitely comes in handy. Josie was super nice and explained everything very well. The place is very comfy and intimate and she provided us with everything we needed. I would definitely like to return to make a smaller version - however, I am sure it will not look anything like the one I already made. And that's ok :) Seriously, if you're looking for a fun yet chilled Saturday morning, this is the place. A piece of advice - make sure to cut your nails otherwise you'll get really annoyed trying to get the marks off the bowl :)"

"Absolutely loved this workshop. Having one afternoon being creative and chatting with people from everywhere in a nice open atmosphere is a really great experience. Plus I can pick the fired work up afterwards. The fire itself is full of magical. And living in this lovely expectation of a few weeks of a new piece made by myself is such a wonderful thing. So far I made a bowl and a cat cup from Josie's workshop. She is a wonderful teacher, a great listener, and a good friend of us now. Best thing is, drinking from a cup made by myself, even ordinary tea taste a million times better :)"

"I had so much fun and also relaxed for the first time in ages! Josie brings so much experience, but is also the loveliest, most patient, kind person and teacher; she's great company! Having tried other pottery courses this is by far the best, a very small group in her personal studio. Additionally she is very helpful if, like me you wish to continue hand-building at home, I have dropped new pieces back to her for firing, and Josie always gives you her time and help. Can't recommend more!"

"Josie is the best kind of teacher - a huge wealth of experience and skill combined with an open mind and encouraging approach that enables you to create your own unique piece. I learnt so much in this morning session and yet the atmosphere is relaxed and fun. Josie guides you gently while you are hand building your ceramics, never imposing her ideas but offering suggestions and ideas for shape and decoration that will inspire you to make your best work. Once made, the pieces are fired in her kiln for you to collect later. Her studio is a wonder: full of her own lovely work, it is the ideal creative environment. A great course and helped me create a lovely bowl that I am proud to own. For beginners and the more experienced, this is one of the best ceramic events I have been to. I would definitely sign up again. I am delighted to give it five stars!"

"My myself and partner did this course last weekend and had such a great time! Josie was a really great teacher - really knowledgeable and so friendly too (and patient!). The group was small so Josie was able to give us each enough assistance with making sure our bowls were how we wanted. The bowls we made were great and we had the freedom to make them how we wanted.
