"What a fab day... Jon and Becky have endless patience... It's hard work and a full-on day. but from the offset, Jon made you feel confident, that you were going to accomplish making your basket. Very relaxed atmosphere, good banter. Jon chatted throughout the day telling us about basket making in general, as we worked, which was more interesting than being given a chapter and verse hour which generally flies over your head. One to one help, when you needed it, Becky and Jon explained what to do simply, and we were allowed to go at our own pace. Becky's flapjacks and cake were delicious... Make sure you book the lunch or you will definitely miss out on a treat. I really recommend this course as an introduction to basket making, you'll come away with a super basket to be proud of."

"I really wanted to 'have a go' at making a willow basket and this day was perfect! I can't believe I made such a lovely basket as I had never attempted anything like this before. I really love my basket, especially the 'feel' of the willow and the gorgeous colours. Jon and Becky were such easy company, and so expert they made everything seem straightforward. I was worried I wouldn't be able to follow the instruction but Jon and Becky were simply wonderful! Becky's cake and flapjack were a real treat too, thank you Becky! Every stage of the weaving was explained and demonstrated well and Jon and Becky were on hand to support as much as I needed. It was a lovely size group and we enjoyed a beautiful lunch outside as well as some lovely home made cake - thank you Becky! "I’m so proud of the basket I made on Jonny’s course. The willow used is a beautiful mix of greens,reds and browns. In a relaxed but focused atmosphere, Jonny and Becky took us through the stages of basket making and the different weaves involved. With clear direction, demonstration and ample support when needed leading to a very successful outcome. The studio is bright and spacious and we were welcomed and kept supplied with ample drinks and home-made cakes. A really satisfying day."
