Alison Blackburn reviewed: Free-Machine Embroidery 2 Day Workshops with Joanne Frankel Contemporary Textile Artist

"My friend and I treated ourselves to this course as a joint birthday present and we loved it. Joanne was a superb tutor and took us through all the stages of creating a design. We left with worked up samples and - more importantly - the confidence to use the techniques and inspirations in new pieces in ways we could not have imagined. A relaxed atmosphere, lots of materials to play with - and mid morning cake!"

"A brilliant two days. Well worth the journey down from Anglesey. Studio was well equipped and lovely and warm. From the initial design through to the completion of various samples there was plenty of guidance and clear instructions given throughout, whilst allowing for your own ideas and interpretation."

JANET VANCE reviewed: Free-Machine Embroidery 2 Day Workshops with Joanne Frankel Contemporary Textile Artist

"A clearly presented workshop. Takes you through the design process to the end product, in small steps but allowing you to create an original piece of work or lots of samples. All you need is a sketch book, some pictures for inspirations, (although Jo had plenty of material to inspire you), your sewing machine and lunch. Everything else is supplied including lots of support from Jo. Comfortable, light studio. Plenty of parking. An excellent way to spend a couple of days."
