Maker's bio

After finishing my degree in Herbal Medicine, I set up Herbal Harmony in 2005 and began making natural skincare to treat my clients and sell to customers. Over the years I developed & extended my product range into hand creams, face creams, lip products, cleansers, cold process soaps and felted soaps. I’ve recently moved from Dorset to Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire and teach a range of Soapmaking and skincare classes alongside making my own natural soaps and cosmetics.

"I had a really great time last week at the Introduction to soapmaking workshop with Catherine. I probably didn't appreciate how scientific (measuring/chemicals) it was, so it was less creative than my normal crafts, but I really enjoyed it. I'd contacted her before I booked to ask some specific questions and Catherine was really helpful. Catherine also gave me a tailored "recipe" to cater for my nut allergy which was so kind of her to do. Catherine was so patient and explained everything really well. I took 2 soap blocks home that I've now sliced and are now curing and I look forward to using them in several weeks time "

"Fantastic course, great instruction and generosity in sharing knowledge and passion for soap making. Cat is a great teacher, clear instruction and demonstration followed up with patience when we all went crazy with batch two 🙄. Came away with two boxes of soap and a car that smells lovely with a mix of essential oils. Highly recommended"
