"I cannot recommend this course highly enough. Im a complete beginner to felting and by the end of the session had made a hare I felt proud of. Heidi is a lovely warm lady and a great teacher. She took time to explain each step in detail and gave guidance throughout the process. She also answered all my questions with patience. Zoom was easy to use and it was great being able to learn whilst at home. We also had a laugh along the way . Thank you Heidi Dawn James"

"We booked this for my Mum's birthday and we all really enjoyed it. The course length was good (though I think we could have carried on all night!) and Heidi was a great instructor and very patient with our varying levels of experience and engagement. We ranged in age from 13 - 63 and all managed to come home with wonderful felted toadstools and an urge to get crafting the next item! Thanks Heidi :-)"

"I was at the Smiley Snowman workshop yesterday and had a lovely day. I have not done any needle felting before. Heidi explains each step clearly and is there to assist if needed. It was a very friendly, relaxed workshop and I was very pleased with my Smiley Snowman. He shall be taking pride of place this Christmas. "My wife and I attended a felting course in September to make foxes as part of our wool anniversary celebrations. From the moment we arrived at the venue which was located in a beautiful rural location we immediately felt relaxed in the quiet, calming surroundings. We were met by Heidi who made us feel most welcome and introduced us to a few regular course attenders as well as total beginners like ourselves. Everybody was so friendly and helpful throughout the whole day and Heidi was especially sympathetic towards extra support I needed from being registered blind. The whole experience was something I never thought I would try but having encountered various physical conditions over the last few years forcing me to realise life’s far too precious and short helping me to appreciate everyday as a bonus and to try more things with an open mind. I thoroughly enjoyed the course as did my wife. I can’t say the foxes we made were the most attractive lol, but it was our first time and attempt which I am sure will improve with practice, but the pleasure gained definitely outweighed our lack of skills. A lovely touch was after the course we had a group photo of everyone holding their finished felted foxes which has since been emailed to us as a keepsake memory. Shortly after this review I will be booking another course and possibly many more after. I would definitely recommend the course. P.s. no shortage of refreshments and cake for cake lovers."

"I chose Heidi for a workshop to celebrate my 30th birthday with some friends, making some festive party sheep. The time flew by and we were all proud of the creations that we came away with. All of us were beginners in felting and feel confident that we could pursue it by ourselves at home if we wanted to. Heidi is absolutely lovely, friendly and so patient. None of us felt any worries or pressure. The instructions were very simple to follow and Heidi was happy to repeat them or give us individual support if we needed it. Throughout the lead up to the event, Heidi was very easy to get hold of via email and communicative throughout the entire process. I had no concerns about where to go on the day or payment details etc. I would definitely recommend her to friends or anyone looking for a fun and productive time together. You 100% get what you pay for and more!"

"I had the most enjoyable and creative time. Heidi was friendly and welcoming, giving clear instructions ( and little tips) on how to make our hare. She gave us advice on the types of wool and needles you can use when felting. I loved meeting the other girls on the workshop and our supply of tea and cakes from Heidi was delicious. I found the morning relaxing and was rewarded with a super little hare with his own character at the end. Made by my own fair hands (considering I had never felted before). Definitely come away wanting to continue felting as a hobby. Loved the morning. Thanks Heidi, see you soon!"

"I had THE BEST TIME! Heidi made me feel at ease and was very friendly. The instructions were easy to understand and I left with a wonderful pink pig that I had made. I had never tried needle felting before and now I feel confident to have a go at home! I would recommend this course to anyone."

"Heidi was a fantastic workshop host, kind, funny and very engaging making the workshop easy to follow. At time when I became stuck she was on hand instantly to demonstrate again the techniques. Heidi made a felt hound during the workshop which made the visual link to the instructions given. Heidi was also very good at answering questions about the workshop and facilities as I was attending with my mother who suffers from a chronic illness. She was great it making sure mum was able to take part and also comfortable. This workshop was definitely worth the money as I successfully made something, had refreshments all day and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thanks Heidi!"
